On Friday, January 27^th, 2023, Hanover Police received information from Toronto Police Service about a stolen pickup truck. The truck was thought to be travelling to Hanover. Later that same day, Hanover Police located the truck as in pulled into a driveway in the 400 block of 11^th Street. The driver was a 17-year-old youth from North York. He was taken into custody without incident and charged under the Criminal Code with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.00. He was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
