On Saturday, September 30^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service received reports of an assault, which occurred in the 600 block of 10^th Street. The victim and accused were known to each other and the physical altercation took place after a verbal argument. Hanover Police have charged a 16-year-old Hanover youth under the Criminal Code with Assault. The youth was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
