On Saturday, September 2^nd, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a theft complaint in the 500 block of 11^th Avenue. The victim observed the suspect take her motorized scooter, which was parked, at her residence. Police immediately attended the area and found the scooter to be in the possession of a 17-year-old Hanover youth. Police arrested the youth charging them under the Criminal Code with Theft and Possession of Stolen Property. They have an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
