On Sunday, October 9^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police responded to a mischief complaint at a business in the 800 block of 10^th Street. On arrival, police located a 34-year-old woman of no fixed address still inside the business. It was determined that the woman had been damaging items inside the store. Police attempted to arrest the woman and she actively resisted officers. The woman was eventually taken into custody and subsequently charged under the Criminal Code with Mischief, Resisting Arrest and Failure to Comply with an Order of Probation. She was held for a bail hearing.
