On Thursday, February 3^rd, 2022, members of the Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 10^th Street. Through investigation, police determined that a 47-year-old Hanover woman had assaulted another person. This occurred after a verbal dispute. The victim did not require medical attention. The same female was also already on court ordered conditions to have no contact with the victim. Hanover Police have charged the female under the Criminal Code with Assault, and Failure to Comply. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
