On Thursday, September 21^st, 2023, Hanover Police received an after the fact report of assault which had occurred in the 300 block of 11^th Avenue. Through investigation, police formed grounds to believe that an 18-year-old woman had assaulted another person. The victim required medical treatment. Police have charged the woman under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
