On Monday, August 28^th, 2023, Hanover Police attended an address in the 600 block of 21^st Ave regarding a disturbance. While investigating police formed grounds to believe that an 18-year-old Hanover woman had assaulted another person by striking them with a hairbrush. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police arrested and charged the woman under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
