On Tuesday, August 8^th, 2023, Hanover Police attended an address in the 500 block of 10^th Avenue regarding a disturbance. While on scene, police received information that a 40-year-old Hanover woman had hit another person inside the residence. The victim did not require medical attention. The woman was arrested by police and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault. The woman was later released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
