On Tuesday, May 15^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of 7^th Avenue. Through investigation, police formed grounds to believe that a 24-year-old Hanover woman had assaulted another person. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police have charged the female under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
