On Tuesday, February 21^st, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service attended to keep the peace for a property exchange in the 100 block of 11^th Avenue. While on scene, a 29-year-old Hanover woman assaulted another person in front of the officers. Hanover Police arrested and charged the woman under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was later released from police custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
