On Sunday, July 27^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service conducted a traffic stop in the area of 7^th Avenue and Grey Road 28. Through investigation police determined that a 57-year-old vehicle passenger had an active arrest warrant. A further check also revealed the same person was bound by court conditions to be in their residence. Hanover Police have charged the Hanover man under the Criminal Code with Failure to Comply. The arrest warrant was also executed and the man later released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
