On Wednesday, June 28^th, 2023, Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of 11^th Street. Through investigation police determined that a 31-year-old Hanover man and a 27-year-old Hanover man had assaulted each other after having a verbal dispute. The younger man received a broken hand as a result of the assault. Hanover Police have charged the men under the Criminal Code with several offences. They both have upcoming court dates in Walkerton.
