Two Drivers given Roadside Tests

Between, Saturday, February 19th and Sunday, February 20th, 2023, Hanover Police issued two Roadside License Suspensions after Drivers were found to have been consuming alcohol. The first driver was a 35-year-old West Grey man while the second driver was a 21-year-old Dundalk man. The first driver had blown an “Alert” on the roadside screening device. This resulted in a 7-day license suspension and vehicle impoundment. The second driver was a G2 Driver who had been consuming a small amount of alcohol in contravention of his licensing conditions. His license was suspended for 3-days and his vehicle left parked on scene.
