On Saturday, October 28^th, 2023, Hanover Police while on patrol observed a vehicle being operated in an aggressive manner. The vehicle was stopped by police and 3 male youths spoken to. A search of the vehicle located alcohol and cannabis inside. The 17-year-old driver was subsequently issued a 3-day driving suspension for alcohol. He was further charged under the Liquor Control Act with having alcohol accessible. The two other youths were also charged with cannabis and alcohol related offences. All were released on Provincial Offence Notices.
