On Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, members of the Hanover Police received a report of a driver doing “burnouts” in the Independent Grocery store parking lot. Police quickly responded locating the vehicle turning onto 10th Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver found to be driving while under suspension. The vehicle was not insured, and did not have license plates attached. The driver was a 22-year-old Walkerton man who is now facing numerous charges under the Highway Traffic Act, and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He has an upcoming court date in Walkerton. The vehicle was towed.
