Traffic Stop leads to Charges

On Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, Hanover Police located a motorcycle with improper license plates attached in the 400 block of 10th Avenue. As a result a 33-year-old West Grey man was arrested for having improper license plates. A search after arrest revealed the man was in possession of a firearms license which he was on court ordered conditions to surrender. Hanover Police have charged the man under the Criminal Code with Failing to Comply with a Release Order. He was further charged with the following traffic offences: Using Unauthorized Plates, Driving while Under Suspension, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Insurance. He was issued an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
