Hanover Police are investigating reports of stolen vehicle license plates. The thefts have occurred at random locations throughout Hanover. Police are asking everyone to periodically confirm that license plates are attached to your vehicles and trailers. You should also confirm that your license plates have not been swapped out with someone else’s. License plate switching is common practice for vehicle thieves in an attempt to avoid detection.  If anyone has information about these thefts, they are asked to contact the Hanover Police Service or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting a secure Web Tip.
