Hanover Police continue to investigate an attempted theft of lumber, which occurred on Saturday, August 5^th, 2023. The lumber was taken from a residence in the 100 block of 12^th Street and later recovered in the area of 6^th Avenue. Another resident in the area observed the suspects with the lumber and spoke to them. This caused the suspects to drop the lumber and flee the area. If anyone has information about this occurrence, they are asked to contact the Hanover Police Service or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting a secure Web Tip.
