On Saturday, November 12^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police responded to an unwanted person call at a business in the 200 block of 5^th Street. Through investigation police determined that a 17-year-old youth had fraudulent identification in his possession. The youth on seeing police fled the area on foot but was later taken into custody without incident. The youth has been charged under the Criminal Code with Obstructing a Police Officer. He was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
