On Wednesday, August 3^rd, 2022, Hanover Police conducted a query on a motorcycle that was parked at a business in the 800 block of 10^th Street. The check revealed the license plate was not to be attached to any vehicle. On seeing police the motorcycle driver fled on foot towards a neighbouring business. Police arrested the 45-year-old man nearby. The man has been charged under the Criminal Code with Obstruct Police. He was further charged with operating a motor vehicle with improper license plates, having no insurance, driving while under suspension and having an improper driver’s license. The man was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
