On Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on 16th Avenue. Through investigation, police determined that a 19-year-old Hanover man had intentionally drove into another vehicle being operated by an associate of his. The man then fled the area. Hanover Police later apprehended the man charging him with Dangerous Operation, Criminal Harassment, and Fail to Remain at the Scene of a Collision and Failure to Comply with a Previous Court Order. All charges were under the Criminal Code. Luckily, no one was injured in this act of violence. The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.
