On Saturday, May 7^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service located a 34-year-old Durham man sleeping on a bench on 10^th Street. The man had an active arrest warrant issued for him out of North Bay. Hanover Police arrested the man and while searching him located a large machete attached to his body. Hanover Police have charged the man under the Criminal Code with Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He as released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
