On Wednesday, September 14^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police while on patrol observed a person known to have an active arrest warrant issued for them. Police informed the 39-year-old Hanover man that he was under arrest and he began actively resisting. The man struggled with police for approximately 75’ before being safely taken into custody. The man has been charged under the Criminal Code with Resisting Arrest.  He was later released and turned over to the police jurisdiction that held the original arrest warrant.
