On Tuesday, April 12^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service received a report of a breach of bail conditions. Through investigation police determined that a 19-year-old Hanover man had violated the terms of an earlier court order by making repeated contact with someone he was on conditions to have no communication with. The investigation also revealed an earlier assault, which had not yet been reported to police. On April 14^th, 2022, Hanover Police arrested the man charging him under the Criminal Code with Failure to Comply and Assault. The man was held for a bail hearing in Walkerton.
