On Friday, May 26^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service attended an address in the 500 block of 10^th Street regarding an unwanted person. Once on scene police located a well-known 39-year-old Hanover man who had locked himself inside a parked vehicle that did not belong to him. The male refused to exit. Police were able to convince the male to exit the vehicle. Once outside the vehicle he was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Mischief. He was further charged with Failing to Keep the Peace, which was a condition of his probation from other charges. He was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
