Man Charged with Impaired Driving

On Saturday, May 7th, 2022, Hanover Police responded to a possible impaired driving complaint in the 800 block of 10th Street. Police immediately attended the driver’s residence and spoke to him. The driver provided a sample of his breath, which resulted in a Fail. The driver was arrested and later refused to provide samples of his breath for alcohol testing. Hanover Police have charged a 46-year-old Hanover man with Impaired Operation, and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample. His driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90-days. The man has an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
