On Friday, October 27^th, 2023, members of Hanover Police Service received information about a possible breach of probation occurrence. Through investigation police formed grounds to believe that a 54-year-old Walkerton man had followed and made contact with a person he was on court conditions not to associate with. This person was a victim in another occurrence involving the same man which resulted in the court conditions. On Monday, October 30^th, 2023, the man was located and arrested by Hanover Police. He was charged under the Criminal Code with Breaching his Probation. Police held the man for a bail hearing in Walkerton.
