On Friday, October 8^th, 2021, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 8^th Street. Through investigation police determined that a 25-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person after a verbal dispute. The same man also damaged property belonging to another person. Hanover Police arrested the man and charged him under the Criminal Code with Assault and Mischief. He was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
