On Thursday, July 20^th, 2023, Hanover Police responded to a fight in progress at a business in the 300 block of 10^th Street. Through investigation police formed grounds to believe that a 73-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person. The victim was pushed down causing substantial injuries. The man has been charged under the Criminal Code with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The man was later released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
