On Friday, June 16^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of 7^th Avenue. Through investigation police formed grounds to believe that a 49-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police have charged the man under the Criminal Code with Assault. He was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
