On Tuesday, June 6^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 12^th Avenue. Through investigation police determined that a 43-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person on an earlier date. The victim did not require medical attention. The man was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault. He was later released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
