On Wednesday, February 22^nd, 2023, members of the Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of 11^th Avenue. Once on scene, police observed a highly distraught 27-year-old Hanover man. The man had assaulted another person causing minor injuries. The man had also damaged property. After a brief struggle, the man was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault, Mischief and Resisting Arrest. He was later released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
