On Tuesday, July 19^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of 11^th Street. Through investigation, police determined that a 29-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another family member after having a verbal dispute. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police located and arrested the man without incident. He was charged under the Criminal Code with Assault and provided an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
