On Tuesday, July 5^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of 9^th Street. Through investigation police, formed grounds to believe a 52-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person. The victim did not require medical attention. On Wednesday, July 13^th, 2022, members of Hanover Police while on patrol observed the suspect biking on 9^th Street. The man was arrested without incident and charged under the Criminal Code with Assault. He was later held for a bail hearing in Walkerton.
