On Sunday, December 5^th, 2021, Hanover Police took a report of an alleged assault and on-going harassment.     Through investigation police determined that a 37-year-old West Grey man had assaulted another person after a verbal dispute. It was further alleged that the same male had been harassing the assault victim. The victim did not require medical attention. The man was arrested and charged with Assault and Harassing Communication under the Criminal Code. He was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
