On Thursday, August 25^th, 2022, Hanover Police while on patrol observed a well-known man of no fixed address on 12^th Street. Police were aware that the man had an active arrest warrant issued for him by the OPP. Police attempted to arrest the man who fled the area on foot. The man was found hiding near a residential property. As a result of his actions the 22-year-old man is now facing additional charges under the Criminal Code including Obstruct Police (running way) and Failure to Comply with a Previous Court Order. He was later released to the custody of the OPP.
