On Wednesday, July 12^th, 2023, members of the Hanover Police Service were advised of a theft of merchandise from business which occurred the day prior. Through investigation, including the use of store surveillance police identified a 23-year-old Hanover man and a 28-year-old Hanover woman as the suspects. Both were seen participating in the theft of merchandise. The pair were later located and charged under the Criminal Code with Theft and have upcoming court appearances in Walkerton.
