On Thursday, September 9^th, 2022 at 2:00am, Hanover Police stopped a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. The driver when spoken to exhibited signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and refused to provide samples of their breath for analysis. Hanover Police have charged a 39-year-old Kitchener woman under the Criminal Code with Impaired Operation, and Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample. She was also charged with breaching an earlier court order. She was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton. Her vehicle was impounded and her Driver’s License suspended for 90-days.
