Hanover Man Charged with Performing a Stunt

On Friday, May 27th, 2022, Hanover Police while on static patrol heard a vehicle revving loudly in the LCBO parking lot. Police attended the vehicle and observed the male passenger to be continuously pushing the gas peddle causing people in the area to be concerned. The male was spoken to by police and refused to provide his identification. He was arrested for failing to identify himself and for performing a stunt (revving engine). The male resisted arrest and an off-duty police officer had to assist. The male was further charged with failure to comply with an earlier court order. The male was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
