On Sunday, June 24^th, 2023, Hanover Police received a complaint of a female under the influence of alcohol/drugs in the 700 block of 7^th Avenue. On police arrival the 26-year-old female was observed to be running in and out of traffic. Police immediately arrested the female as she was a danger to herself. She was charged under the Liquor License Control Act with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. She was issued a Provincial Offence Notice and released from custody once sober.
