On Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police Service while on general patrol observed a vehicle driving recklessly on 10th Street. The vehicle eventually pulled into a driveway on 17th Avenue. Police spoke with the driver who exhibited signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside test was conducted and the driver registered a “Fail”. The driver was arrested and provided breath samples well over the legal limit of acceptable alcohol. Hanover Police have charged the 38-year-old Hanover man with Impaired Driving and Over 80mgs of Alcohol. His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days. The man has an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
