On Tuesday, August 3^rd, 2021, members of the Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 12^th Avenue. Through investigation police learned that a 19-year-old Hanover woman had been involved in a verbal dispute with another person. The dispute turned physical when the same woman struck the other person with a glass bottle causing minor injuries. Hanover Police arrested the woman charging her with Assault with a Weapon and violating the terms of a previous court order. She was held in her custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.
