On Saturday, August 13^th, 2022, members of the Hanover Police responded to a disturbance call in the 500 block of 12^th Street. Through investigation police determined that a 25-year-old Hanover man and a 57-year-old Hanover man had assaulted each other after having a verbal dispute. Both sustained minor injuries. Hanover Police have charged both under the Criminal Code with Assault. Both were released from custody and have upcoming court dates in Walkerton.
