On Wednesday, November 3^rd, 2021, Hanover Police responded to a break and enter in progress in the 700 block of 10^th Avenue. On arrival, police located a 29-year-old Hanover man inside a commercial property. The man fled from police but was apprehended nearby. During a search police located knives that the male was on court conditions not to possess. Police also received information that the same male had kicked a motor vehicle causing damage on an earlier date in Hanover. Hanover Police have charged the male with Break and Enter, Failure to Comply with a Court Order and Mischief. All charges were under the Criminal Code. The male was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
