On Tuesday, July 27th, 2021, members of the Hanover Police Service while on patrol observed a suspicious person in the 200 block of 9th Street. The male provided police a fictitious name but was known by responding officers as a 39-year-old Hanover man. He was bound by a court ordered curfew which he was violating. The male was arrested and on search police located tools suitable for committing theft from vehicles and break and enters. He has been charged with numerous Criminal Code offences and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
