On Monday, September 6th, 2021, members of the Hanover Police investigated an assault allegation which occurred in the 300 block of 6th Avenue. As a result of this investigation police arrested and charged a 28-year-old Hanover man under the Criminal Code with Assault. The assault occurred after a verbal argument. The man was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
