On Saturday, September 4^th, 2021, members of the Hanover Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of 10^th Street. Through investigation police determined that a 39-year-old Hanover man had assaulted another person. The assault stemmed from a verbal argument. Hanover Police have charged the man with Assault under the Criminal Code. He was released from custody with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
