On Friday, April 23^rd, 2021, Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of 15^th Avenue. Through investigation, it was determined that an 18-year-old Hanover woman had assaulted another person. The assault was because of a verbal argument. On Friday, April 30^th, 2021, Hanover Police on completing the investigation arrested the 18-year-old woman charging her under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
