On Wednesday, May 3^rd, 2023, Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of 13^th Avenue. Through investigation police determined that a 31-year-old Walkerton man had assaulted another person. It was further determined that the same man damaged property belonging to the assault victim. Hanover Police arrested and charged the male under the Criminal Code with Assault and Mischief. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
