On Tuesday, March 28^th, 2023, Hanover Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of 5^th Avenue. Through investigation police determined that a 46-year-old Paisley woman had physically assaulted another person. This occurred after a verbal argument. The victim did not require medical attention. Hanover Police have charged the woman under the Criminal Code with Assault. She was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
